December in Pula - Dicembre in città – holiday program for all ages   The last month of the year is traditionally reserved for the event December in Pula – Dicembre in città, the holiday event that offers plenty of interesting programs at various city locations for locals and visitors alike. The programs are intended for all ages with lots of fun for everyone to kick off the holiday season. This year's rich program December in Pula – Dicembre in città offers a wide variety of cultural and entertainment events and programs, performances and concerts.   The rich music program at Portarata called Rocktarata features the following concerts: The Night Express, Vatra, Fit, Letu Štuke, Songkillers, Psihomodo pop, Dj Rock Caffe, Top of the Pops, Blagdan Band, Funbox, Urban & 4, Dj Giuly, Pips, Chips & Videoclips, Radioaktiv, Krug – Ekv Tribute Band, Febra. All those who decide to celebrate the beginning of the new 2020 at Portarata will be entertained by Šajeta.   The traditional New Year's Eve celebration will also be organized in the Forum- one of the oldest squares in the city, with the bands Zabranjeno pušenje, preceded by Le Monde.   Interesting alternative programs are organized by Seasplash Platform, - Fakofbolan, Atheist Rap, Vasil Hadžimanov Band with guests; there will also be a New Year's party at the Club Kotač, and the well-known C.U.B.E. vol. 7 at Club Uljanik.   The New Year 2020 arrives a bit earlier at Giardini with the band Nola, this special New Year's celebration will be held at noon. The ice-skating rink at Giardini can also be the perfect place to celebrate the beginning of 2020. This heart of the city, with its Magic Forest is also the magical place for children during the upcoming holidays.   There will also be plenty of singing and cooking at the marketplace in December – Christmas delicacies will be prepared on December 24, and on December 31 you can sing and dance to the music of Vesna Nežić Ružić and then taste the delicious food prepared in the so-called Pula padela. Of course, there will be other musical programs at the marketplace during the entire month.   This year's program of Advent in the Cathedral features concerts by Bruno Krajcar and Vanna, and the traditional Christmas charity concert at the Istrian National Theatre features Marko Tolja and Mia Dimšić.   December in Pula can be truly unique. So, take a walk through the city, stop for a break at Giardini or buy fresh local produce at the market while listening to music. Advent in Vinkovci

Advent in Vinkovci will surely meet the expectations of many visitors this year. Skating rink, concerts, numerous cultural, religious and entertainment events will mark the period from November 29th 2019 to January 5th 2020.   Most of the program, just like last year, will be held in the Pedestrian zone in the city center.   The concert part of the Advent in Vinkovci opens Vanna on November 29th and along with the famous names of Croatian performers (Pravila igre, Antonija Šola, NO Jazz band, Antonela Doko, grupa Buđenje) and performers of spiritual music (Alan Hržica and Emanuel group), numerous visitors will also enjoy the spiritual music of the church choirs. The highlight of the musical part of the event will be traditional "Concert at the Gymnasium", where about 200 young singers and musicians will sing from the windows of Vinkovci High School.   As the ice rink attracted great interest last year, the organizers have make effort, especially for young people, to make it possible to skate on an even larger ice rink, of course with the rich offer of excellent food and drinks of many caterers.   Advent in Vinkovci will also feature numerous cultural events, performances and concerts in the Vinkovci Theater, museum and gallery exhibitions, workshops and interesting contents in the city library and the „Magic Advent“ virtual game in the central park.

Philharmonic Ball

Born in Austria, maestro Danzmayr was brought up in Europe's musical Mecca of Salzburg, reaching his musical maturity in a special atmosphere of traditional Viennese New Year galas, true building blocks of musical excellence that Austria is renowned for. With that in mind it's more than obvious that maestro Danzmayr is a perfect choice when it comes to creating an authentic atmosphere as well as managing a spectacle worthy of a true New Year's concert.   Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra's Ball will shower you with some of the most beautiful New Year's waltzes, airs and polkas, each one of them transporting you back in time, to a long forgotten world of Viennese palaces and musical splendor full of recognizable New Year's melodies with their distinctive uplifting qualities that just beckon you to take to the dance-floor, with gems that include famous classics such as The Blue Danube and Radetzky March, the most recognizable among the many famous New Year's scores so beloved by audiences everywhere.   But the „New Year's Eve before actual New Year's Eve“ will not end with the final notes being played.   After the concert that will be held in the Main Hall, we extend the invitation to our audience to come and join us in the lobby, where our distinguished guests will have a chance to enjoy a whole host of famous musical numbers, dance evergreens and melodies we all cherish in our hearts, all performed by Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra's Pop Ensemble. Adria Advent Marathon

The 9th Adria Advent Marathon, which will be held on Sunday, 1 December 2019 in Crikvenica, is the only professional international marathon and half-marathon run in Europe that takes place right by the coastline. It is a favourite among runners and this year even a greater number of participants is expected, so the organisers invite all running fans to get involved and submit their applications. JRE Talent & Passion

For the fourth year running, 15 leading Croatian chefs from the renowned international association JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe) will cook together in person in front of guests in a specially selected location for a special cause – to raise funds for equipping the practical classroom of the Opatija Catering School through ticket sales and thus directly foster the education of prospective cooks and hospitality workers. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the stunning Art Nouveau building of the Rijeka Fish Market, which for a single night will be transformed into a “pick your fish & dish” restaurant, where guests can enjoy the unique opportunity to communicate with the chefs and watch them in action. The food will be complemented with wines produced by select Croatian winemakers, while the pastry chefs will also set up a dessert table.
